How to catch Regigigas in Pokemon Legends Arceus

Catching legendaries in the post-game of Pokemon Legends Arceus stands as one of the most engaging activities for completionists. There’s something about domesticating and taming deities of their realm that provides a great sense of accomplishment. Whether it’s a time deity, the god of death, or even a giant titan responsible for the creation of land, these Legendary pokemon are really something. To help players out, this guide will go over how to catch Regigigas in Pokemon Legends Arceus.

Regigigas is the parent of all titans. Towards the beginning of creation, Regigigas is said to have pulled the continents into their place. It then spawned titans in its image. The people of ancient times feared its power, and sealed the Legendary away in the Snowpoint Temple. To connect perfectly with the lore, this is where players can find Regigigas. But it does take a couple steps to get to this point.

First, accept the mission The Researcher of Myths. Then talk to Cogita and accept The Place of Snowpoint Temple mission. Keep in mind, the prerequisites for completing The Place of Snowpoint mission is to collect the Stone, Icicle, and Iron Plates. 

The Stone Plate should have been dropped by the Vespiqueen that players ran into in a mission prior to reaching this point in the story. For the Icicle Plate, beating the Frenzied Noble Hisuian Avalugg grants it as a reward. And lastly, for the Iron Plate, catch Heatran in the Molten Arena at Cobalt Coastlands.

Once collected, head to the Snowpoint Temple, near the topside of the Alabaster Icelands map.

After a series of cut scenes, players will find Regigigas standing in the room menacingly. Per usual, just weaken the pokemon and attempt to catch it thereafter. Keep in mind, Regigigas is normal type. Therefore, plan typing around that to make the job easier.

Unlike the other mainline pokemon games, Pokemon Legends Arceus allows players to reattempt Legendary encounters if the player accidentally kills them. In other words, don’t worry too much about saving beforehand, and perfecting the catch on the first try. Exiting the area and then heading back to the area should respawn Regigigas. There’s a ton more to do outside of attempting to catch the post-game Legendaries.
