How to catch Azelf in Pokemon Legends Arceus

catch Azelf in Pokemon Legends Arceus

Catching legendaries in the post-game of Pokemon Legends Arceus stands as one of the most engaging activities for completionists. There’s something about domesticating and taming deities of their realm that provides a great sense of accomplishment. Whether it’s a time deity, magical fairies, or even the god of death, these Legendary pokemon are really something. To help players out, here’s a guide on catching Azelf in Pokemon Arceus.

Keep in mind, this is post game content. So players need to have finished the main story first!

Azelf is one of the three protectors of the Time Gear. Not necessarily deities in their own right, they’re more fairy protectors, preserving the balance of the world. They’re like the deities’ helpers. This legendary pokemon specifically is the bringer of willpower. All three protectors are needed for the Plate of the Lakes post-game request. Accept the request then go to Lake Valor in the Crimson Mirelands. Players should use their Hisuian Bravery to fly their quite easily.

Simply throw a pokemon at Azelf to start the fight. Per usual, just weaken the pokemon and attempt to catch it thereafter. Keep in mind, Azelf is Psychic type. Therefore, plan typing around that to make the job easier.

Here are the other Legendary guides

In Conclusion

Unlike the other mainline pokemon games, Pokemon Legends Arceus allows players to reattempt Legendary encounters if the player accidentally kills them. In other words, don’t worry too much about saving beforehand, and perfecting the catch on the first try. Returning to Jubilife City and then heading back to the area should respawn Azelf. There’s a ton more to do outside of attempting to catch the post-game Legendaries. Hopefully, players are enjoying their play throughs of Pokemon Legends Arceus as much as the Staff members here at The Game Haus.
