With only __ number of Monsters in the game, players may be wondering what the next Monster Hunter Now New Monster will be. Well, there is some news — the community is speculating Zinogre to be the next Monster to release.
In the Monster Hunter Now presentation, the video ended with a roar in the background. For non-Monster Hunter veterans, this may sound like an ordinary roar. But for those who have fought Apex Zinogre and carted numerous times, the PTSD of the roar brings memories flashing back of an era of the Super Saiyan monster.

In other words, the roar belongs Zinogre. And there’s only one other monster who’s elemental weakness is ice in the game: Diablos. Therefore, it makes sense that Zinogre is being added to the game. In addition, this would make for the second Lightning element Monster. This would balance out the roster of not only Monster weaknesses, but also elemental weapons available in the game.
Monster Hunter Now Zingore Release Date
As of now, there seems to be no release date. Considering the game has yet to update since release, it’s difficult to gauge the release pattern and patch update cycle. During its peak, Monster Hunter Rise updated rather regularly. The same can be said about Monster Hunter World.
Considering Monster Hunter Now is a mobile game, the expectation is that the game will receive updates more regularly than its console counterparts. But this remains speculation until the first official update drops after the game’s worldwide release.
In the livestream, they did state the next big update is slated for December. That’s quite a while from now, and there’s definitely still the possibility of smaller updates.
Regardless, considering Monster Hunter Now Zinogre’s release seems inevitable, be wary of the future changes to the meta. Zinogre will bring new Lightning element weapons and armor — so there’s a high probability of it displacing Tobi Kadachi’s equipment and weapon.
