Gay, 32, has spent the last two seasons with the Spurs after bouncing around from the Grizzlies, Raptors and Kings earlier in his career. He averages 17.6 points and 5.9 rebounds for his career.
The Spurs earned the seventh seed in the Western Conference last season, but will be hoping that keeping Gay will help them do better next season.
