Weddle received a two-year deal worth up to $12.5 million and is guaranteed $5.25 million.
After spending nine seasons with the San Diego Chargers, Weddle joined the Baltimore Ravens where he spent three seasons. Earlier this offseason, Weddle was cut by Baltimore.
He is a six-time Pro Bowler and a two-time All-Pro safety. Weddle will likely join John Johnson as the starting safeties for the Rams next season.
