When is the Next Overwatch 2 Beta?

When the OW2 initial beta launched, literally millions of people were lining up to play it. They got in, had a great time and then it was gone. Many wondered when it would be coming back, as the dev team had already stated it would. Now the answer has finally been given and fans will be happy to know it is sooner rather than later. Here is when the next Overwatch 2 Beta will open up.

While many fans have been excited about Overwatch 2, there has been a lot of debate about the game and the beta specifically. Was it a true OW2 beta or more of an Overwatch 1.5 beta? With only one new hero, a new mode and a few maps, all of which were already known, the previous beta certainly didn’t feel like all of Overwatch 2.

Luckily for fans, this next beta will feature the newest tank hero, Junker Queen. She finally makes her way to Overwatch after years of anticipation. Initially, it seemed as though players wouldn’t get to play her until early October. Now the devs have changed that and she will release with this next beta.

Also, OW2 PVP is going to be free-to-play. It would seem as though only the story mode will cost anything. To offset this, the latest trailer made it seem likely that gun skins, gun charms and more were making their way into the game.

As for the actual next beta date, the next Overwatch 2 Beta will begin on June 28 and players can sign-up to try and get a spot on June 16.
