A powerhouse of a team going into the new season, the familiar face of Byung-chul “Moon” Moon leads the pack as their head coach. Joining him again is assistant coach Warsi “Stoop” Waris. New additions for assistant coaches come in the forms of Dong-soo “Dongsu” Shin and Mike “Packing10” Szklanny. Both Dongsu and Packing10 are known from the Contenders scene, both as coaches and players.
Dongsu was recently the coach for WGS Laurels Nine in the Korean division of Contenders. Additionally, he was also the coach for the Korean team CONBOX in the Overwatch Apex scene.
Packing10 is a name that Contenders fans know and love. Staring as a player for Hammers Esports, Packing10 then went on to coach EnVision eSports. Most recently, he was the coach for the Angry Titans for Contenders Europe.
Both of these additions to an already stacked coaching team is something that will definitely work out in favor of the LA Valiant. A team that already has an edge up going into the new season, it’ll be exciting to see what this new staff can do to improve their game.
