Nebraska’s star quarterback Adrian Martinez left the game against Northwestern this weekend with a left knee injury. Scott Frost claims it isn’t too serious, but as of now, Noah Vedral is getting the first-team reps at practice.
Kansas Fires OC Les Koenning
Kansas announces that offensive coordinator Les Koenning has been relieved of his duties. Brent Dearmon has been promoted to OC.

Kansas has made a change to their offense as they have fired offensive coordinator Les Koenning. Brent Dearmon will take over as offensive coordinator for the rest of the season. The Jayhawks averaged just 22.8 points per game and have started the season 1-4.
Purdue to Wear Helmets Honoring Moon Landing

Purdue will wear “Moon Walk” helmets against Maryland this weekend to honor the moon landing because Neil Armstrong graduated from the school.

- Willie Taggart says James Blackman and Alex Hornibrook will both get playing time at quarterback for the Seminoles.
- UAB RB Spencer Brown is expected to play vs. UTSA after leaving the last game with an injury.
