College football is now in season. With the more weeks that go on, more news and notes will be put together. Here are some of the things happening around the sport of college football heading into week 7.
Nebraska’s star quarterback Adrian Martinez left the game against Northwestern this weekend with a left knee injury. Scott Frost claims it isn’t too serious, but as of now, Noah Vedral is getting the first-team reps at practice.
Kansas has made a change to their offense as they have fired offensive coordinator Les Koenning. Brent Dearmon will take over as offensive coordinator for the rest of the season. The Jayhawks averaged just 22.8 points per game and have started the season 1-4.
Purdue will wear “Moon Walk” helmets against Maryland this weekend to honor the moon landing because Neil Armstrong graduated from the school.
This will be updated up until week 7 kicks off!
