9. Georgia Bulldogs (7-2)
Georgia lost their second game of the season on the road to Ole Miss. They haven’t been playing well offensively an have suffered. The win over Alabama looks better, but they likely have to win out to make the CFP.
This week: vs. Tennessee Volunteers (8-1)
10. Alabama Crimson Tide (7-2)
Alabama won in impressive fashion over LSU on the road. The big win doesn’t make up for the losses, but does give them a reasonable path to the CFP.
This week: vs. Mercer Bears (9-1 FCS)
11. Notre Dame Fighting Irish (8-1)
Notre Dame took care of business against a bad Florida State team. They hold their spot in the CFP for now, but are likely in a position where they need to win out to make it.
This week: vs. Virginia Cavaliers (8-1)
12. Boise State Broncos (8-1)
Boise State won by one possession over Nevada, but continuing to win keeps them as the group of five representative in the CFP.
This week: at San Jose State Spartans (6-3)
First Four Out- At Large
Ole Miss Rebels (8-2)
The Rebels pulled off a big win over Georgia to stay alive in the CFP race. With other teams having tougher games down the stretch, all they have to do is keep winning and let other teams lose in front of them and they will be in the CFP.
This week: BYE
Texas A&M Aggies (7-2)
Texas A&M was off this week, but with just two losses, stay in the CFP race. They were helped by other teams losing, but might need to beat Texas in the season finale to secure a spot in the tournament.
This week: vs. New Mexico State Aggies (2-7)

UNLV Rebels (7-2)
UNLV won a close one on the road at Hawaii to stay in contention for the MWC. They need to win out and then win the MWC Championship Game to make the CFP. To make the CFP, they’ll need Colorado State to lose a game an they don’t play Boise State or the Rebels.
This week: vs. San Diego State Aztecs (3-6)
Tulane Green Wave (8-2)
After losing two games to Kansas State and Oklahoma earlier in the season, the Green Wave have been undefeated. They have two games left and could be on a collision course with Army in the AAC Championship Game.
