Colorado Avalanche captain, Gabriel Landeskog, will be out for the remainder of the season.
Last night he sustained an injury with Dallas Stars goalie Ben Bishop in the third period of a 4-0 loss. The captain is expected to miss four to six weeks with an upper-body injury. Landeskog played 68 games this season. He is second on his team with 33 total goals and third in total points with 69 total.
The Avalanche are four points behind the Minnesota Wild for the second Wild Card spot in the Western Conference.
