Free agent linebacker Eric Kendricks is signing with the Los Angeles Chargers he announced on Instagram.
Kendricks, 31, spent eight seasons in Minnesota, but is now returning to the state where he was born and where he played college football. In his career, Kendricks has made one All-Pro Team and one Pro Bowl. He has 919 total tackles, 51 passes defended and 54 tackles for loss.
Over the last two seasons, the Chargers have added key free agents to their defense, like Khalil Mack and J.C. Jackson, in an effort to win the Super Bowl. With Kendricks, they will hope to improve on their ranking of the 23rd-best scoring defense in the league.
