Jones, 26, averaged 8.7 points and 4.4 assists for the Grizzlies last season as the backup point guard. He has spent seven years in the league, with four being in Minnesota and three being in Memphis.
The Grizzlies will have a solid bench contributor in Jones, who can jump into the starting lineup whenever Ja Morant is banged up. He also provides some solid 3-point shooting, as he shot 39 percent from behind the arc in 2021-2022.
