1. Eric Stokes, CB, Georgia Bulldogs
Alabama was able to attack Georgia through the air well, as Mac Jones threw for over 400 yards. The second half specifically helped Alabama beat Georgia 41-24. In the game, Eric Stokes had a solid outing, but was called for a questionable pass interference call in the third quarter that helped turn the tide of the game.
Stokes has played well all season and is likely going to be considered to be drafted early in the 2021 NFL Draft. He won’t play too many better passing offense than Alabama the rest of the way, but if he plays great in the few key games Georgia has left, the sky is the limit for him.
2. Jaylen Waddle, WR, Alabama Crimson Tide
As mentioned, Alabama moved the ball up and down the field. Waddle was a part of that with six receptions for 161 yards and a touchdown. He helped blow the game wide open for Alabama with a 90-yard touchdown reception.
Waddle is one of many good wide receivers in this draft class. He and teammate Devonta Smith played well this week and both will be jockeying for position among other players at their position. With some good games down the stretch, Waddle could solidify himself as a first round pick.
3. Terrace Marshall, WR, LSU Tigers
The game between LSU and Florida was postponed due to COVID. Marshall has had a good season thus far with 21 receptions for 424 yards and seven touchdowns on the season so far.
4. Israel Mukuamu, CB, South Carolina Gamecocks
South Carolina was able to pull off the big upset over Auburn this week. A lot of that was thanks to their pass defense. Bo Nix had an awful day against South Carolina, allowing the Gamecocks to win 30-22. Mukuamu did not end up playing in this game with a groin injury.
Mukuamu still has a chance to play himself into an early round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. His teammate, Jaycee Horn, who has been featured in these articles before, had a big day with two interceptions. Mukuamu will be looking to rejoin the team this week when South Carolina takes on LSU.
5. Christian Darrisaw, OT, Virginia Tech Hokies
Virginia Tech handled Boston College easily, winning 40-14. They specifically ran the ball well, rushing for 350 yards. The Hokies also allowed just one sack on the game, as the offensive line dominated. Christian Darrisaw played well and is still rising up draft boards.
The tackle class is stacked this year, so Darrisaw needs to continue playing well. If he keeps playing at the rate he is going, Darrisaw could be a first-round pick.
