While the 2021 NFL Draft is still far off in the distance, players that will be drafted early are on the field now. Each week presents unique matchups for draft prospects and this week is no different. Here are NFL Draft prospects to watch in college football week 7.
Georgia has played a tough schedule, but have come out undefeated. Their offense has pulled away in second halves of games, but their defense has been really tough throughout games. Eric Stokes has been a big part of that. He has locked down his matchup every week this season, had two interceptions and two passes defended this season.
This week, Stokes will help Georgia go up against Alabama in a big game. Mac Jones has been throwing the ball all over the field for the Crimson Tide. Alabama has several future pros at receiver and it will be partially up to Stokes to help shut them down.

Alabama has been putting up a lot of points this season already. They have a lot of weapons and are using them well to help the team win games. One of these weapons is Jaylen Waddle, who has had a heck of a career. This season, he had 19 receptions for 396 yards and three touchdowns on the season.
With Georgia having so many talented players in the secondary, it will be imperative for Waddle to create separation for Alabama to win. Waddle, and the other talented Alabama receivers, could help break this game wide open for the Crimson Tide.
LSU has had a rough season so far with two losses already. One thing that is still going well is their offense and Marshall is a big part of that. He has 21 receptions for 424 yards and seven touchdowns in just three games this season.
Marshall will have a chance to have a great game this week. Florida’s defense has struggled this season and Marshall can exploit that. He has already put up big stats this year, but against Florida, Marshall can showcase his talents again.
South Carolina is 1-2 this season and will be looking to start winning games to get to .500. They have some tremendous players on their defense, specifically in their secondary. Israel Mukuamu is a solid corner with great length. He has six total tackles and one interception this year.
This week South Carolina will be playing Auburn. While Auburn doesn’t have the best passing offense, Mukuamu will have a chance to make game-changing plays on the ball. If he forces turnovers, South Carolina could pull off an upset.
Virginia Tech has had a tough time dealing with COVID issues, but they are 2-1. They have a good rushing attack and a solid offensive line. Christian Darrisaw is one of the biggest risers this season, as he has dominated competition. He has specifically shown the ability to get to the second level on blocks.
This week the Hokies will play Boston College. They will hope to continue running the ball well. Darrisaw will be able to display his skill in this matchup and Virginia Tech should be able to win the game in the process.
