The LEC already wrapped up 15 regular season matches in the 2020 Summer Split, and Schalke 04 lost three of them. Schalke lost to Team Vitality, SK Gaming, and Rogue, which is prompting changes to the starting roster. Neon and Dreams will start over Innaxe and Nukes this weekend for Week 2. This is a swap of the bottom lane duo from Prime League Schalke 04 Evolution and the LEC team.

The Evolution roster is off to a 3-2 start in the Prime League, beating BIG, Team GamerLegion and ad hoc gaming over two weeks. Neon played several LEC matches on Misfits in Summer Split 2019, while Dreams was the starter for Schalke in Spring Split this year. Schalke had issues surrounding bottom lane last split. Following his surprise return to the LEC, FORG1VEN quit the team, criticizing the team for a lack of competitive spirit. Schalke started Innaxe for the remainder of the split.
Schalke 04 faces G2 and Misfits in Week 2.
