Smash Ultimate Summit 3 pools is in full swing. While the Smash Ultaitme competitive scene is not in its strongest state, Summit has successfully revitalized it. With the biggest prize pool in Smash Summit history of $156,000. Pools have come and gone with some major upsets for Smash Ultimate Summit 3 pools.

Group A
Group A consists of Leonardo Lopez “MkLeo” Perez, Kolawole “Kola” Aideyan, Trevor “Atomsk” Hirschen and Rasheen “Dark Wizzy” Rose. MkLeo takes first seed with a 3-0 set record. Second, went to Kola with a 2-1 record. Atomsk took third with 1-2 and Dark Wizzy in last with 0-3 record.

Group B
Group B consists of Edgar “Sparg0” Valdez, Gavin “Tweek” Dempsey, Kengo “KEN” Suzuki and Aaron “Aaron” Wilhite. Sparg0 took first seed with a 3-0 second. Tweek, KEN and Aaron went 1-2 however, Tweek was able to win the tiebreaker giving him second place and winners side. Ken placed third after losing to Tweek. Finally, Aarton took last after losing to Sparg0 for the tiebreaker.
Group C
Group C consists of Samuel Robert “Dabuz” Buzby, Charlie “Charliedaking” Antoun, Brian “Cosmos” Kalu and Sota “Zackray” Okada. Zackray dominated group C with a 3-0 set record and a 9-0 match record. Charliedaking took second seed with a 2-1 recond. Third went to Cosmos with a 1-2 record and surprisingly, Dabuz took last in the pool with a 0-3 record.
Group D
Group D consists of Enrique Hernández “Maister” SolÃs, James “VoiD” Makekau- Tyson, Michael “Riddles” Kim and Tyler “Marss” Martins. The final group seemed to be the most competitive with Markss taking first with a 2-1 set record and 6-4 match record. VoiD barely took second, having to beat Riddles in a fifth game last stock situation making Riddles take third place. Finally, Maister took fourth with a 1-2 record.
What’s Next?
After the Pools, Summit heads straight into “The Gauntlet stage” where the bottom players from each pool have to face off to get into the Final Bracket. The gauntlet is underway right now and is definitely a sight to see for all smashers. Check out the official stream Smash Summit stream here!
