Can You Buy a House in Starfield?
Buying a house in Starfield is a streamlined process. To get a house in Starfield, you’ll need to buy it using in-game currency or by completing certain quests that come up. During a Discord Q&A, Lead Quest Designer Will Shen mentioned that players can purchase a home in all the major cities in the game. This means that there is a wide variety of housing options to choose from. Houses are customizable in terms of furnishing and decoration.

Is There A Starfield Housing Trait?
There is in fact a Starfield trait called Dream Home which allows players to start the game with a customizable house that already is decked out. Unfortunately, it comes with a 125,000 credit mortgage that needs to be paid weekly.
How To Fast Travel In Starfield?
Fast traveling in Starfield is relatively a seamless process to do. Whenever players are on a planet they will need to access the surface map. When off planet they will need to use the Starmap. Once a location is already discovered on the surface/Starmap, players will be asked to confirm if they want to travel to the said destination. Keep in mind that a location must be discovered on the maps in order to travel to a location. The ability to teleport to the player’s ship is also possible by pushing the Y button.
How Long Does It Take To Beat Starfield?
Playing through Starfield on an average playthrough should take around 30 to 40 hours to complete. The Starfield main quest is about 20% bigger than previous Bethesda games such as Skyrim and Fallout 4 if that gives an idea of how big the RPG is. While blazing through Starfield isn’t something that’s recommended, it certainly is possible to shorten the playthrough time.
