96: Chris Harris Jr. CB- Denver Broncos
Chris Harris Jr. has been the most underrated NFL player over the past five years. When you hear the term lockdown corner you think of Darrelle Revis, Patrick Peterson, and Richard Sherman. Chris Harris Jr. is in that category. In this day and age of the NFL you must have slot corners to stop the Julian Edlemans and Randall Cobbs of the world. Slot corners are more valuable than at any other point in football history. Chris Harris Jr. is the best at defending these quick, shifty receivers.
Chris Harris Jr. had a 35 game stretch from 2013 to 2015 where he didn’t give up a single touchdown. In 2015 he only gave up two touchdowns. Those are shutdown corner numbers. The only reason I rank him at 96 and not higher is because he is mostly a slot corner. Make no mistake though Chris Harris Jr. is a shutdown corner.
