5: Miami @ Dallas- Nov. 23, 1993
Snow in Texas? It happened on Thanksgiving in 1993 when the Dolphins went into Dallas for an epic snow game. The game was close throughout, but most of the action came at the end of the game when the Dolphins lined up for a 41-yard field goal. Miami was trailing 14-13 with very little time remaining. The Cowboys blocked the kick and thus the game was over. Or was it? If the Cowboys had let the ball lay on the field the game would have ended. Instead, Leon Lett infamously touched the ball.
There was no instant replay, but the Dolphins had recovered it for a touchdown. The refs ruled it was Miami ball at the point of the recovery and Miami would get a second chance to win the game. The Dolphins lined up for a 19-yard field goal and made it with no time remaining to win the game 16-14.
