In Thursday’s NFL opener against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Gallup caught four passes for 36 yards against the Super Bowl Champions before exiting the game in the third quarter.
His 2020 season saw him be targeted 105 times, racking up 59 receptions for 843 yards and five touchdowns. Gallup’s numbers took a clear downturn after Dak Prescott’s injury that ended his season after five games.
The Cowboys’ number two receiver will now be CeeDee Lamb, followed by Cedrick Wilson who caught a few balls on Thursday. Stay tuned to TGH for more information on injuries throughout the NFL.
