On their twitter, the Washington Justice, announced that they have released Hyeong-Seok “WizardHyeong” Kim, Kyoungey “Avalla” Kim, Mikael “mkL” Skjonhaug and Canaan “Shrugger” Carman. This comes only hours after the San Francisco Shock finished off the 2019 season with a championship.
Today we announce the departure of our coaching staff: @WizardHyeong, @avalla_ow, @mkL_OW, and @Shruggerung.
We are truly thankful for their enthusiasm during our inaugural season. We wish them all the best for the future. pic.twitter.com/ck1HdoFuX4

WizardHyeong was the Justice’s first Head Coach and one that many thought would bring stability to Washing. After the team struggled mightily throughout the season they seemingly had a revival in Stage 4 where they went 6-1. It will be interesting to see what happens with WizardHyeong as he will be a free agent head coach for the second offseason. Could he end up on a third OWL team in three years?
As for Washington, it is clear that by releasing their entire coaching staff Analynn “Bawlyn” Dang and Grant Paranjape are wanting to have a clean slate in 2020. The new front office has been slowly making changes and likely will also make roster changes next.
Keep it here at The Game Haus as we will make sure to continue updating as more news for teams come.
