This, the Nighthawk Router Rumble, was the Shock’s opportunity to bounce back after a tough upset loss to the Houston Outlaws. And bounce back they did. Taking the series 4-0, the Shock looked like their Stage 2 selves, rolling over the Dynasty’s attempt at running GOATS against them. This victory should help propel the Shock for a relatively easy remaining stage as they look to once again make a run in the coming stage playoffs.

Nepal: Shock 2-1 Dynasty

The Shock came out firing against a Seoul team that has only played Sombra in a few team fights all stage. Each team opting for mirrored GOATS on the first map, the Shock managed to roll through fairly quickly. Up 1-0, the Dynasty came firing back on Sanctum with an extremely effective Winston-GOATS composition. With things all squared up, the Shock managed to squeak out a very close third map. In this first map, the Shock looked great against Reinhardt but struggled against other compositions.

Volskaya Industries: Shock 2-0 Dynasty

After handing the Dynasty their first map loss in Stage 3, the Shock looked to keep things rolling on Volskaya. They managed to cap both points quickly off the back of an incredible Earthshatter from Matthew “super” DeLisi. On defense, they managed a rare full hold of Seoul, moving into the half with a commanding 2-0 lead.

Numbani: Shock 4-3 Dynasty

The Dynasty came out of the half with five new players on stage with a clear intent to play more DPS-centered compositions. On Shock’s opening offense, they proceeded, unphased, through the entirety of the map. On defense, however, The Shock were met with slightly more resistance. Yet, with some good stalling and an early pick on their first timebank defense, the Shock put themselves in a great position to take the series. With a rare DPS lineup, they did just that, taking the map and the series in the process.

Havana: Shock 2-1 Dynasty

the Shock kept things rolling on Havana, beginning with a staunch defense against Seoul. This gave them the room needed for a clean, quick attack to cap off the series and claim their coveted golden router belt.
