The Paris Eternal announced on Saturday, November 23 the addition of former Hangzhou Spark Main tank, Da-un “NoSmite” Jeong. NoSmite started off the season with the Spark by holding down the Main Tank position. However, as Xu “guxue” Qiulin became more comfortable with the team and language barriers, the team started to rely on him more than NoSmite.

Spark announced via their Weibo and Twitter on June 26 that both NoSmite and DPS player Jun-Ki “Bazzi” Park would be moving to two way contracts with their academy team, Bilibili Gaming. NoSmite found moderate success on BiliBili, placing 3rd-4th in Contenders China Season 2. About a month later, the Spark then announced that they were bringing both players back up, in preparation for Stage 4 of the Overwatch League.
NoSmite is the latest in a string of additions to the Paris Eternal roster, after last month’s announcement of Yeong-Han “Sp9rk1e” Kim, Han-bin “Hanbin” Choi and Ki-hyo “Xzi” Jung. Well known for his incredibly adept Reinhardt plays, his inclusion should bolster Paris’s tank line, that has been deemed to be their weak spot in the past.
The Paris Eternal are currently in Seoul, South Korea for a one month long bootcamp. However, at this time it is unknown if NoSmite has joined the team at their training facility.
