Just two days after the most recent PTR Patch Notes (1.45) hit the test server bringing hero pools and massive workshop changes, another set has just gone up today, holding true to the developers promise to patch more frequently in 2020. Today’s PTR patch, seen here, issues nerfs to Wrecking Ball, Widowmaker and Brigitte while buffing Symmetra’s Secondary Fire.
These changes are ones that seem to, for the most part, come to unexpected heroes in Overwatch. However, with hero pools on the horizon, it’s anyone’s guess as to what heroes will be most meta, which could explain these adjustments.
Anticipate these changes going live on March 5 to mark the start of Competitive Season 21 and hero pools. This, also, is subject to change given the developer’s current mindset towards the game. So, stay tuned here to make sure you’re on top of all the latest.
