With the latest season of the Overwatch League just two weeks away, audiences are curious as to how the pros will pick up the newest characters. Last week, the Overwatch team showcased a short gameplay trailer for the newest DPS character Sojourn. The video highlighted Sojourn’s new weapon, abilities and her overal play style within Overwatch 2. Her kit is fairly unique, and fans are excited to see Sojourn in the hands of some of the best players in the world.
Luckily fans won’t have to wait for much longer. On Thursday April 21, the Hangzhou Spark will reveal a new video of their star damage dealer Shy running around the Practice Range with the new hero.

The tutorial gameplay will feature Shy in the Practice Range, running around testing out the abilities of Sojourn. This premiere is the first of its kind since Overwatch fans have seen since the announcement of the upcoming Beta. Although the video won’t be against players, it should be a good introduction to Sojourn, and what she can do in the hands of a talented player like Shy.
Sojourn has an interesting set of abilities that are sure to make a big impact in the Overwatch League space. She has strong mobility like Soldier: 76, and a strong primary fire that can quickly take down foes. Sojourn also has a disruptive grenade that can help combo abilities with teammates. People can check out the gameplay tutorial on the Hangzhou Spark Youtube channel.
Excited Overwatch 2 fans can also get a glimpse of the new tank rework of Doomfist, led by the Spark’s very own Guxue. The Doomfist gameplay tutorial will premiere at the same time as the Sojourn tutorial.
