The first week of the Overwatch League is here, Dallas Fuel has two matches in the first week. This will be a weekly article series that normally recaps the previous week and prepares fans for the next weeks matchups to ensure that they is caught up on the games. As there were no “real” games played last week this week will only have the preview portion.
San-Francisco Shock: 0-0-0
The Shock are looking like a powerhouse this season. The roster is stacked to the brim with talent. Notable pickups like Minki “Viol2t” Park and Dongjun “Rascal” Kim are going to try and carry this team. Finding a starting six will be the problem.
The maps being played are Nepal, Kings Row, Horizon Lunar Colony and Rialto. Kings Row and Rialto are very strong for GOATS compositions and the others favor more mobile heroes. The more flexible team should have an advantage.
In order for Dallas to take the win they will have to try to not panic or switch their game plan if they fall behind. Sometimes sticking to what is most practiced is better than changing after a team-fight loss.
Prediction – Shock wins 3-2

Keep an eye out for Zachary “ZachaREEE” Lombardo this game. He is looking to prove the doubters wrong with his flexibility and match one may be where he starts. If Zachary does play, it will likely be with Brigitte as she is still a very strong pick. However Dallas may want to try something different, in which case Zachary’s flexibility should play a role.
Seoul Dynasty: 0-0-0
The Dynasty made good moves during the off season. The main tank Chanhyoeng “Fissure” Baek will likely be starting and looking to outplay the Fuel’s Minseok “OGE” Son. Both of these players surprised last season and turned their teams around. This will likely be a close match.
Reinhardt is the hero to pick for this match as Busan, Kings Row and Rialto are all strong GOATS maps, with Volskaya being the only exception. Teams may attempt to play a strategy other than GOATS. It’s safe to assume that the standard 3-3 composition will be the default pick.
Tank play is what will win the match here, keeping their Reinhardt’s up and giving him every resource to stay alive is of utmost importance. For this to happen, all of the other players need to be in the right position and not get caught out, this would force teammates to use cool-downs on that player, not on the Main Tank.
Prediction – Dallas wins 3-2

Previously of the Los Angeles Gladiators, Fissure made his wish come true. Fissure wanted an all Korean team of very hard working individuals, Seoul Dynasty is exactly that.
Fissure has replaced Jin-hyuk “Miro” Gong on this team, the pioneer of Winston back in the early days of the competitive scene. He will be looking to fill those shoes and continue his march to becoming the next great Main Tank.
