NFL Draft Prospects in the 2024 ReliaQuest Bowl

Publish Date: December 25, 2024

The bowl season gives fans and scouts alike a chance to analyze NFL Draft prospects against solid competition. Bowl scheduling allows all eyes to be on each game. Here are the NFL Draft prospects in the 2024 ReliaQuest Bowl.

Alabama Crimson Tide Draft Prospects

Jale Milroe, QB

Milroe joined Alabama in 2021. He was the backup quarterback for two seasons before taking the starting job in 2023. There were some early struggles, but Milroe settled in and has remained the starting quarterback. In 2024, he has passed for 2,652 yards, 15 touchdowns and 10 interceptions on 65.9 percent completion. He also has 719 rushing yards and 20 touchdowns on the ground.

At 6-foot-2 and 225 pounds, Milroe isn’t the biggest quarterback, but he has a filled-out frame. His accuracy and decision-making can fluctuate. Milroe has plenty of value because of his arm strength and athletic ability.

Projected Draft Range: First Round Pick

Tyler Booker, IOL

Booker joined Alabama in 2022. In his first season, he was a rotational player, but then took over a starting role in 2023. He was a First-Team All-SEC selection in 2023 and then in 2024, he was an All-American by several different services.

At 6-foot-5 and 325 pounds, Booker has good size for the NFL. He has good power to help move defenders when run blocking and to anchor when pass blocking. His mobility is good for his size, but he can struggle to change directions.

Projected Draft Range: First Round Pick-Second Round Pick

*S Malachi Moore is out for this game with an injury. He is a projected mid to late-round pick.

Other Draft Prospects: LB Jihaad Campbell (1st-2nd), DL LT Overton (2nd-4th), LB Deontae Lawson (3rd-5th), S Keon Sabb (4th-6th), IOL Jaeden Roberts (4th-6th), CB Domani Jackson (4th-6th), IOL Parker Brailsford (4th-6th), EDGE Que Robinson (6th-UFA), DL Tim Smith (6th-UFA), DL Tim Keenan III (6th-UFA), WR Germie Bernard (6th-UFA), RB Jam Miller (6th-UFA), OT Elijah Pritchett (UFA), TE CJ Dippre (UFA), P James Burnip (UFA)

Michigan Wolverines Draft Prospects

Kenneth Grant, DL

Grant joined Michigan in 2022, but didn’t play much that season. He made an impact in 2023 and helped Michigan win the National Championship. In 2024, Grant returned to school, totaling 32 tackles, seven tackles for loss and three sacks.

He stands at 6-foot-3 and 339 pounds, which is great for an NFL interior defensive lineman. Grant has great power and actually moves well for his size too. He can take on multiple blockers, opening up things for the rest of the defense.

Projected Draft Range: First Round Pick

Kalel Mullings, RB

Mullings joined Michigan in 2020 as a linebacker and played special teams. He continued at linebacker through the 2022 season, then changed to running back in 2023. He played a little bit in 2023, but really broke out in 2024. In 2024, he had 948 rushing yards and six touchdowns.

At 6-foo-2 and 233 pounds, Mullings has great size for a running back. He has good strength and contact balance. Mullings doesn’t have breakaway speed and won’t offer much help as a pass-catcher, but he is still growing in the position.

Projected Draft Range: Fifth Round Pick-Seventh Round Pick

*CB Will Johnson is out for this game with an injury. He is a projected top-10 pick.

*DL Mason Graham has opted out of this bowl game. He is a projected top-10 pick.

*TE Colston Loveland has opted out of this bowl game. He is a projected first or second-round pick.

*EDGE Josaiah Stewart has opted out of this bowl game. He is a projected second or third-round pick.

*RB Donovan Edwards has opted out of this bowl game. He is a projected late-round pick.

Other Draft Prospects: LB Jaishawn Barham (5th-7th), EDGE Derrick Moore (6th-UFA), K Dominic Zvada (6th-UFA), OT Giovanni El-Hadi (UFA), S Makari Paige (UFA), LB Ernest Hausmann (UFA), TE Marlin Klein (UFA), OT Myles Hinton (UFA), CB Aamir Hall (UFA)
