More recently known for his Fortnite gameplay, Tim “TimTheTatman” Betar has had a history with the franchise and was one of the games more well-known streamers during the game’s infancy. While the Twitch streamer has not played as much of the game as he once did, he has always expressed his love for Overwatch and frequently comes back when new content is added to the game.
A lot of you have been asking… I plan on trying to get back into Overwatch (more than just season placements) once 2/2/2 drops… one of my main frustrations was people not working together to win. Hoping it helps!

As Betar is one of the most popular streamers on all the various platforms today, it makes a lot of sense why Blizzard would choose the streamer to showcase the communities first look at Echo. Boasting a 4.1 million following, thousands of people will be exposed to the stream inside and outside of the Overwatch realm.
In the case of Echo, TGH has made some predictions on what the omnic’s abilities could be and what their role could be in the current meta. What is for certain is that fans and players alike will be able to see how meta-changing this hero might be tomorrow morning.
