Is it possible that the Cleveland Browns will mess up another draft and pick a QB in the first round?
Answer: Most likely yes. In the last 20 or so years, the Cleveland Browns almost always mess up anything they can.
The QBs in this draft are ok but none of them are can’t miss or real first round talent. Many say Cal’s Jared Goff, North Dakota State’s Carson Wentz, or Memphis’ Paxton Lynch are first round talent, but I believe that they are only first round talent because there are so many teams projected to fill the QB hole in the draft.
But hopefully the Browns do not fall in the trap and they get a QB in free agency, the trading block or later in the draft. QBs like Colin Kaepernick and RGIII could definitely be possible options on the trading block.
In free agency, the gems are Brock Osweiler and Kirk Cousins, but we all believe Cousins will remain in Washington.
Later in the draft there are QBs like Dak Prescott of Mississippi State, Connor Cook of Michigan State, Kevin Hogan of Stanford, and Christian Hackenberg of Penn State.
I project the Tennessee Titans will pick OT Jeremy Tunsil from Ole Miss. If that comes true, the next best prospect is  DT/DE Robert Nkemdiche of Ole Miss.
It should be Nkemdiche because of his versatility. He is  6’3”, 296 pounds and can play any position on the defensive line, which is perfect for the 3-4 defense we expect the Browns to play again in 2016. But Nkemdiche does have a little baggage coming into the league. He was suspended for his game because of an incident involving synthetic marijuana, but his stats and his potential might overshadow that stupid decision he made.
He can play the run and can defend the pass as well. He has great moves on the line as a 21-year-old and can definitely learn from veterans like Randy Starks and Desmond Bryant. He has an incredible first step off of the line. He has impressive film speed and strength and if he can blow the NFL Combine and his Pro Day out of the water he has to be picked in the top five of the draft.
Maybe the next JJ Watt, Mel Kiper Jr. sees it and it makes sense. Robert has seen the offensive side of the field quite a bit in college.
He is a freak of nature he was the number one player in the nation as a high schooler in 2013. And could definitely be the number one draft pick as well.
Cleveland for the sake of all of your fans, please don’t reach and grab a QB in the first round of the draft.
