The Washington Commanders continue to sign pieces as the legal tampering period opens on Monday. They have now signed two more offensive lineman; Nick Gates, a center and Andrew Wylie, an offensive tackle.
PFF’s Ari Meirov reported the news via Twitter on Monday.
Wylie is following the former Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator, Eric Bieniemy, to the Washington Commanders. After stints on three different practice squads, Wylie landed with the Chiefs. He would go on to win two Super Bowls with the team.
Both Wylie and Gates are signing three-year deals, although the exact amount of money for which Gates is signing is currently unknown. He was originally undrafted out of Nebraska in 2018, spending his previous NFL life with the Giants.
