Tennessee Titans quarterback Caleb Farley has suffered another injury. He is reported to have a herniated disc in his back, which is likely to keep him out for a few weeks. It is unclear how much time Farley will miss with the back injury.
The NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported the news via Twitter on Monday.
Farley was chosen by the Titans in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft out of Virginia Tech. He’s played in a total of just 12 games out of a possible 26 after suffering an ACL tear in Week 6 of last season. He was also placed on the non-football injury list during the last preseason, also.
In the 12 games in which Farley has played, he’s started just two; one in 2021 and one this season. He has a combined 14 tackles (13 solo), one pass deflection and zero interceptions. More tests are being run on Farley to determine how long he’ll be unavailable.
