The Super Bowl is here. Picking NFL games straight up is hard enough, but picking against the spread is even tougher. Here is the Super Bowl LVII pick against the spread. (Spreads are from Tallysight as of Monday morning)
Last week: 1-1, Season total: 133-142-8
Super Bowl LVII
Kansas City Chiefs vs. Philadelphia Eagles (-2)
The Eagles were able to dominate the 49ers to win the NFC Championship. They used their first-round bye to heal up and have been on a roll. San Francisco having injuries to the quarterback position didn’t help, but Philadelphia was winning the battle in the trenches.
Kansas City was able to kick a last-minute field goal to beat Cincinnati. The Chiefs had Patrick Mahomes playing with a sprained ankle, while several receivers had injuries. It as a hard-fought win and now the Chiefs will get two weeks to prepare and heal for the Super Bowl.
Mahomes is coming off a great performance against the Bengals and will have more time to get comfortable with his ankle. In the end, he will be able to make throws to win the game for the Chiefs, especially with their protection holding up well.
Pick: Chiefs
