The NFL Conference Championship Round is here. Picking NFL games straight up is hard enough, but picking against the spread is even tougher. Here are the NFL Conference Championship picks against the spread. (Spreads are from Tallysight as of Monday morning)
Last week: 3-1, Season total: 132-141-8
San Francisco 49ers at Philadelphia Eagles (-2.5)
The 49ers’ defense played great against the Cowboys and the offense did enough to get the job done. Philadelphia looks like they were really fresh coming off of their bye week, with several players needing time to recover from injuries. San Francisco has to put up more points this week, but it won’t be easy against the tough Eagles’ defense, which ranks eighth in the league in points against. Jalen Hurts will be able to use his legs and arms to help the Eagles win and cover.
Pick: Eagles
Cincinnati Bengals at Kansas City Chiefs (-1)
Cincinnati has defeated the Chiefs three-straight times. They are on a roll after defeating the Bills in the Divisional Round by 17 points. What makes the game even tougher for the Chiefs is Patrick Mahomes’ high ankle sprain. He may not be able to play and even if he does, it will be tough for him to make the plays he makes on the move, especially against the Bengals’ talented defensive line. Joe Burrow will lead the Bengals win on the road as underdogs.
Pick: Bengals
