Thompson, 25, has 80 tackles, five passes defended and three interceptions in three seasons with the Seahawks. Last season, he totaled 19 tackles, two passes defended and two interceptions. He has started 16 games over the last two seasons.
With Quandre Diggs and Bradley McDougald at safety there wasn’t much need for Thompson heading into the 2020 season.
