Free-agent wide receiver Robby Anderson has agreed to a two-year, $20 million deal with the Carolina Panthers according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Anderson, 26, is a four-year pro, who has developed into a solid wide receiver for the Jets in his career. He had 52 receptions for 779 yards and five touchdowns last season. In his career, he has 207 receptions for 3,059 yards and 20 touchdowns.
In Carolina, Anderson will be joining his former college coach Matt Rhule, who coached him at Temple. He will join a group of wide receivers that includes D.J. Moore and Curtis Samuel. Anderson will give new quarterback Teddy Bridgewater a vertical threat in the offense.
