The NFL Conference Championship Round is here and football is entering the end of the season. Picking NFL games straight up is hard enough, but picking against the spread is even tougher. Here are the NFL Conference Championship picks against the spread. (Spreads are from ESPN as of Monday afternoon)
Last week: 2-2, Overall: 134-123-6
AFC Championship
Tennessee Titans at Kansas City Chiefs (-7.5)
The Titans have been on a miraculous run thanks to Derrick Henry’s rushing ability. Their defense has also played well. This week they will need to put up a lot of points to keep up with the Chiefs. Kansas City started off slow, but still dominated the Texans. They will learn from their lesson and get started earlier. The Chiefs will use their great home-field advantage and end the Titans’ season.
Pick: Chiefs
NFC Championship
Green Bay Packers at San Francisco 49ers (-7.5)
The last time these two teams played, the 49ers had an easy 38-7 win. Since that game, the Packers have won out, while the 49ers have lost two games. San Francisco does run the ball well, while the Packers have had their issues stopping the run. The difference this time around will be Aaron Rodgers, who has gotten more comfortable with the offense now. With he and Davante Adams clicking, the Packers will at least be able to keep it close if not win the game.
Pick: Packers
