The New York Jets have reached an agreement with Pro Bowl guard Laken Tomlinson on a three-year, $40 million deal. This deal includes $27 million guaranteed, according to Ian Rapoport. Tomlinson was the 28th pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, and has developed into one of the best offensive guards in the NFL.

If there is one thing Jets fans love, its watching Joe Douglas deliver on his promise of improving this offensive line. Since becoming General manager, Douglas has used two first round picks, and has now spent nearly $100 million signing Connor McGovern, George Fant, and Tomlinson.
This Jets offensive line is now projected as:
LT: Mekhi Becton LG: Alijah Vera-Tucker C: Connor McGovern RG: Laken Tomlinson RT: George Fant
Furthermore, the team has the draft capital to make more moves, and depth is always a good thing. Joe Douglas starts with a bang.
