The move reunites another former draft pick of Robert Saleh from his time in San Fransisco, as Reed was selected in the fifth round of the 2018 NFL Draft. This past season with the Seattle Seahawks, Reed allowed the third lowest passer rating in the NFL (66.0), as well as the third least catches (35).
Reed will likely line up on the outside opposite Bryce Hall, despite his shorter stature. While he only stands at 5’9″, he has proven he can play the outside corner position at an elite level. The kicker: Reed allowed zero (0) touchdowns on over 400 coverage snaps in 2021 from Week 4 onward.
