Offensive tackle Kaleb McGary will continue his career as an Atlanta Falcon after signing a new contract on Tuesday. His new deal is reportedly worth up to $34.5 million over the next three seasons. He has the team’s right tackle since 2019.
The NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported the news via Twitter on Tuesday.
McGary was the second-to-last pick of the first round back in the 2019 NFL Draft. He was chosen by the Falcons out of the University of Washington after Atlanta traded up with the Los Angeles Rams to secure him.
In his first four NFL seasons, McGary missed only three games (two in 2020, one in 2021). He played 100 percent of the team’s offensive snaps in 2022, committing four total penalties, three of which were holding calls.
