An NFL analyst recently stated that quarterback Joe Burrow of the Cincinnati Bengals is better than the starting quarterback of the Pittsburgh Steeler Ben “Big Ben” Roethlisberger.
Sport outlets agree that Roethlisberger is one of the better quarterbacks in the modern era of NFL, but recently, analyst Adam Schein of CBS Sports thinks that Burrow has surpassed Roethlisberger.
“I’m telling you right now, the Bengals are going to surprise some people,” he said. “They can beat Minnesota, they can beat Jacksonville, they can beat Chicago depending upon the quarterback situation, you have to see who the quarterback is in green bay, they could certainly beat the Lions and Jets to start the season. I’m going to say it again. Cincinnati can win more games than the Pittsburgh Steelers because they have a better quarterback. This is great news for the Cincinnati Bengals and the NFL.” Schein said on a Twitter post from CBS Sports.
Surprisingly, fans actually agree with him about his statement. One fan even stated Burrow would still be better Roethlisberger even if Burrow can’t play due to a knee injury.
The Steelers New Player Could Be a Versatile Threat
While NFL fans are starting to see Roethlisberger inch closer and closer to retirement. One of the Steelers newest drafts says he can play running back, and also wide receiver.
Najee Harris said this earlier last week during a press conference, adding that the Steelers plan to use him everywhere.
“[One thing] that’s similar is probably how they’re going to, I guess, line me up out wide and stuff like that how I did in college — utilize the running back in the passing game out wide, in the slot, all the way out to the ‘X’ position,” Harris told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
We’ll have to see if Harris will end up in a wide receiver position this week as the regular season inches, ever closer.
