Free agent tight end Hayden Hurst has agreed to a deal with the Carolina Panthers according to Ian Rapoport.
Hurst, 29, has played with the Ravens, Falcons and Bengals in his five NFL seasons. He has registered 177 receptions and 1,718 yards and 14 touchdowns in his career. Last season with Cincinnati, Hurst hauled in 52 passes for 414 yards and two touchdowns.
After trading away D.J. Moore, the Panthers have added a weapon for their future quarterback.
