Restricted free agent running back Gus Edwards has signed a multi-year contract extension with the Baltimore Ravens. Edwards’ new deal is worth $10 million over two years.
The NFL’s Ian Rapoport reported the news via Twitter on Monday morning, citing Edwards’ agent, Drew Rosenhaus..

Edwards played in all 16 games for the second season in a row in 2020. He started in only one game in 2019, but that ballooned to six last season. In those six starts last year, Edwards scored a career best six touchdowns and rushed for 723 yards. He was also much more of a threat in the passing game, racking up 129 yards on nine receptions.
The fourth-year back is an integral part to the league’s most potent rushing attack. Along with Lamar Jackson and J.K. Dobbins, Edwards is now guaranteed to bring some continuity back to the Ravens’ running back room until 2023.
