Superstar running back Ezekiel Elliott has tested positive for COVID-19. He is among multiple NFL players in the state of Texas to test positive for the coronavirus. The other players were not named in the report.
The NFL’s Ian Rapoport confirmed the report via Twitter on Monday afternoon.
#Cowboys star RB Ezekiel Elliott is one of the players who has tested positive for the Coronavirus, his agent Rocky Arceneaux confirmed to me. Arceneaux said Elliott is feeling good.

Elliott has been reported to be in good health. There is no confirmation on the exact health status of the other players that have the virus. The Cowboys have gone as far as to release a statement saying they are unable to divulge the names and status of the other players due to privacy laws.
After the news was released, Elliott tweeted the word “HIPPA” with two question marks. This indicates he was not in good spirits about the news getting released. HIPPA is in reference to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, which ensures privacy in regards to medical records.
Elliott’s agent confirmed the diagnosis due to the information already being released. Other names may or may not be divulged in the coming days.
