Trade! #Cowboys DE Everson Griffen is being traded to the #Lions in exchange for draft pick compensation, sources say. Detroit, winners of two in a row, is added a big-time veteran pass-rusher.

Griffen, 32, just signed with the Cowboys this season. In seven games, Griffen registered 2.5 sacks. For his career, he has 77 sacks.
The Cowboys have struggled after having several injuries hold them back. Without their offensive line healthy or Dak Prescott, it looks like they are turning their attention towards the future rather than competing this season.
Detroit has won two straight games to even up their record at 3-3. In acquiring Griffen, they will hope to make a run at the playoffs. The Lions currently average 1.3 sacks per game, which is 27th in the NFL.
