The Detroit Lions and linebacker Jamie Collins have agreed to a contract for three years and $30 million according to Albert Breer.

Collins will get $18 million guaranteed. The 30-year-old spent time with both the Patriots and Browns over his seven-year career. He has 575 career tackles and won two Super Bowls with the Patriots. Collins will rejoin former defensive coordinator Matt Patricia in Detroit.
The Lions are trying to revamp their defense this season in hopes of making a playoff push.
