Jackson has had injury issues this season, but this injury tore muscle off of the bone, resulting in the need for surgery.
He was traded back to Philadelphia this offseason to give Carson Wentz another target. Now, Alshon Jeffery and Nelson Agholor will have to carry the load for the receivers, something they are used to because of Jackson’s previous injury.
The veteran receiver has nine receptions for 159 yards and two touchdowns in three games played this season.
