The Denver Broncos have traded for New England Patriots cornerback Duke Dawson and a 2020 seventh-round pick for a 2020 sixth-round pick according to NFL Network’s Ian Rappoport.

Dawson, 23, is a second-round pick from the 2018 NFL Draft out of the University of Florida. He started his rookie season on the injured reserve with a hamstring injury and was unable to get on the field the whole season.
With the Patriots having good cornerback depth and the Broncos being thin, the trade makes sense for both sides.
