Two extremely important pieces of the Kansas City Chiefs offense were feared to be injured after Sunday night’s game against the Buffalo Bills. Running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire has a sprained MCL, which will cause him to miss a few games. Wide receiver Tyreek Hill also suffered a “minor” knee injury, but it apparently will not lead to any missed time.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the news via Twitter on Monday.

Hill, a three-time Pro Bowler and All-Pro selection, is the number one option on the Chiefs’ offense. This season he already has 516 yards and four touchdowns in five games, despite Kansas City losing three of those contests. Three of those touchdowns came against the Eagles in Week 4.
Edwards-Helaire has not been as productive as he was during his rookie season in 2020. He does have 304 yards on the ground, but has zero touchdowns and two fumbles already. The amount of time he is slated to miss is yet undetermined, but it will be at least two games, according to early reporting.
