Owner Mike Brown has made it clear that this is a move his father, Paul Brown, would’ve agreed with. He also mentioned it is increasingly important to do it so that they can afford some of the contract extensions they will need to sign with players in the coming years.
Paul Brown Stadium opened in 2000 and has a seating capacity of 65,515. The Bengals have a 93-82-1 record in the regular season and a 1-4 playoff record in the stadium.
Over the years the stadium has also hosted college and high school games as well as concerts.
